As an organization deeply rooted in the community, The Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) relies on the passion, dedication, and leadership of individuals who share our vision. Recently, we put out a call for new members to join our volunteer Board of Directors, and the response we received was nothing short of inspiring.
We are writing today to extend our deepest gratitude to every single person who took the time to submit an application, share their resume, and express their interest in guiding the future of our organization.
Reading through your applications was a powerful reminder of the incredible talent, diverse expertise, and deep-seated commitment that exists within our community. It is clear that so many of you are deeply passionate about our mission to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and to advocate for, support, and empower Black communities in Toronto.
Because we received such a high volume of outstanding applications, our Nominating Committee faced the incredibly difficult task of selecting a limited number of individuals to move forward in the process. To those who were not selected this time, please know that your willingness to step up and serve does not go unnoticed. Your energy and your desire to make a difference are exactly what keeps our community moving forward.
Our work is far from over, and there is always a place for you here at Black CAP. Whether it is through volunteering at our upcoming community events, participating in our events , or simply helping us spread the word about our programs, we hope you will stay connected with us.
